Welcome to the TriFactor Triathlon Club website. If you're on this page you're probably curious about triathlon, or looking for a club to train with.

Trifactor is a Winnipeg-based group of 45+ members from various walks of life, with different levels of commitment, experience and goals. Our aim is to collectively create an environment that welcomes athletes of all levels. We enjoy our workouts and testing our limits at race time, but we always have a good time on the social end too. Otherwise, what's the point?

Try Us Out
Come out and try a few workouts on us - two weeks in fact - to give you a chance to get to the various workouts. Have a bike but no trainer? No problem, give us a heads up and we'll arrange a loaner for you. (A trainer is a heavy "stand" that attaches to your back wheel, allowing you to train indoors with your bike).

Workouts

Monday January 4: our 2010 season officially begins with a brick workout. This begins our indoor schedule of 3 indoor workouts per week, plus 3 swims, and an outdoor run. (Click HERE for the schedule) The indoor workouts are held at the Cindy Klassen Rec Centre, 999 Sargent Avenue. They are instructor-led by our coach Jason Brescasin (or an alternate member if Jason is not available). The workout schedule is designed to build strength, speed and endurance over the winter to get us into great shape for spring. In addition to the instructor led workouts, workouts for all disciplines are provided via an online site for TriFactor members only. These online workouts allow members to continue with their training at a time which is convenient for them.

We're swimming!!

For the second year TriFactor is offering a swim lane before each indoor workout at the Cindy Klassen Rec Centre. This is a no hassle way to get your swim workout in since it's the same location as the main workout. It will also train your body to get used to swimming first. Swim times are: Mon/Wed at 6:30-7:30 pm, Sat at 7:30-8:30 am.
